Trusted FINREAD and GTA
The benefits Trusted FINREAD brings by providing a secure smartcard reader environment with a trusted keyboard, display, processor and the secure download of applets on to the reader for specific functionality. The demonstration showed the download of an applet, signed through the GTA infrastructure, on to the readers of three different manufacturers.
 
Multi application MCI chip card
A MasterCard Multos v4 chip card with the MCI M/Chip application for secure EMV consumer shopping and a GTA compliant PKI application to support secure e-business.
 
Secure and legal signing of an electronic document
A PKI smart card application with a GTA certificate can be used to digitally sign and send a 'Proxy voting form' of Clifford Chance.
 
Secure access to a Document Repository
Fully compliant with the GTA model, access to a centralised system for secure exchange of electronic documents was shown.
 
Electronic Invoice delivery
A supplier's invoice is fundamental to trade. It is used as a request for payment, an accounting document for buyers and suppliers and the legal statement for VAT deductions. A demonstration was given of a secure processing service that facilitates the electronic delivery of invoices between trading partners, regardsless of their size, sophistica&tion or geographical location. This application can interoperate with ERP systems, accounting systems and web based trading hub and marketplaces. The application is undergoing accreditation for use within GTA.
 
Electronic remittance and payment processing
This is a secure processing service that facilitates the electronic delivery of remittance and payments between trading partners, regardless of their size, sophistication or geographical location. It can work with all ERP and accounting systems for both the buyer (disburser) and the supplier. It uses secure web based technology and state of the art database applications. The application is undergoing accreditation for use within GTA.
